Who we are

At “Get Knowledge” we have one clear mission ‘to help Leaders learn to change in ways that support more Fun and Caring environments, where people can be themselves, be happier at work, where Trust is part of the fabric’

We champion PEOPLE in the improvement equation.

Over the years we’ve been involved with a number of businesses and individuals in the change and improvement space. We’ve been part of Lean implementations, Six Sigma programmes, IT change programmes across a number of different sectors. Often, PEOPLE are forgotten due to a focus on technical methods and skills.

We’re not saying these technical elements aren’t important but we believe that PEOPLE are your greatest asset and that’s why our HOW is focussed around PEOPLE, leadership, environments and learning to “Get Knowledge”.

What we do

Working within the Service sector, primarily within CUSTOMER OPERATION, SHARED SERVICE & CHANGE functions we learn together and create Fun, Authentic, Caring & Trusted teams that deliver more with less.

At present, we are full on VIRTUAL DELIVERY and we've gotten really good at it as we've managed to transition what was once only seen as possible face to face into the virtual team environment.

People see a lot of change, BUT not a lot of improvement. That is where we are different, the foundation for all improvement starts with learning and the reason we are called ‘Get Knowledge’.

Socrates said, “I cannot teach anybody anything, I can only make them think!”, and we know it is time to think differently about HOW we all approach change.

Our Values of FACT (Fun, Authentic, Caring & Trust) are not just how we are, they fundamentally underpin our standards of service.

We have a range of coaching lead approaches to building high performing team environments.

What we've done

We've worked with lots of companies both large and small. Yorkshire Water, Hallmark, Highways England and Northorpe Hall all love what we do whether that's virtual delivery, face to face or a bit of both.

I was running a pilot to improve how we find, fix and update customers about leaks. Jason Elliott (Get Knowledge) provided me with coaching about how to view the problem before the pilot, running workshops to re-design work and running a pilot. He has also provided general coaching to me in terms of my career and how the business works using systems thinking

Project summary:

Creating Confident Course - was an invaluable, insightful course with like minded people from the change arena. We shared experiences and also learnt a lot from Lee in these hour long slots across the weeks. For me it's given more of an insight into not only how others react to change but also how I handle things which is a good reminder. Having time to reflect and understand myself has been really useful and reframed things for me. Lee's way of sharing and teaching was great, with lots of things that stick in your mind, singing Happy Birthday still sticks in my mind - a great lesson there :) I thoroughly recommend Lee for his novel, unique and above all honest ways of getting the message across.

Mindset, Trust & Habits course (MYTH)

Feedback summary:

The MYTH course in particular that Get Knowledge ran was like no other course I've been on. It was impactful and covered topics that are usually not considered in other classroom based training sessions. I found myself totally encapsulated in the content, it certainly took me on an emotional journey. I refer back to how important trust and habits are quite often in my role.
